BAWER manufactures high-tech, avant-garde steel products for the AUTOMOTIVE, MEDICINE and MUSEUM markets. Created thanks to the entrepreneurial vision and intuition of its founder, Pasquale Lorusso, and with the profitable collaboration of its management, BAWER S.p.A. was born in the early 2000, producing steel components and accessories for the AUTOMOTIVE market, where the company holds a consolidated market leadership throughout the world. Since 2008, BAWER has undertaken a virtuous diversification process, offering state-of-the-art steel solutions for the MEDICAL and MUSEUM markets. BAWER is present in over 60 countries around the world, it exports over 85% of its products, creating a volume of 42,000 cubic metres/year of shipments and has a 25% average growth in turnover each year. More than 100 persons work in BAWER, the average age is 35. Bawer has recently implemented a new high-tech production plant with automated and robotised systems in the industrial area of Jesce, Matera, the European Capital of Culture 2019. Bawer is a successful company deeply tied to the territory, promoting its social and cultural growth and distinguishing its brand by supporting numerous initiatives and activities.
