For more than 70 years, the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) has been marketing Germany's tourism diversity abroad on behalf of the German government, highlighting above all the compatibility of tourism and sustainability.
The GNTB carries out its task of marketing Germany as a travel destination internationally as follows: In 22 locations worldwide, end customers are enthused about Germany as a travel destination with innovative campaigns - in line with the conditions in the respective source market.
In addition to marketing, the organisation, in its role as National Tourist Board, also performs tasks for the ongoing transfer of knowledge. To this end, the GNTB commissions its own studies, evaluates the latest findings in the field of incoming tourism and makes them available to the industry. The GNTB works closely with partners from the German tourism industry, associations and commercial enterprises.
