Batten University is Virginia’s innovative university of the arts and sciences. Situated on a 300-acre, park-like campus in Virginia Beach, the University enrolls approximately 5,000 learners annually, including 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students, along with a growing population of lifelong learners engaged through credit and non-credit offerings in its Global Campus division. The University comprises the Virginia Wesleyan College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Professional and Graduate Studies (Global Campus), which includes a collaborative campus in Tokyo, Japan, and a nationally recognized prison education program, and the Sentara College of Health Sciences, founded in 1892.
