BASS POND CLUB INC Information

The Bass Pond club, Inc., is a private, nonprofit swim club in Springfield, MA. It was founded in 1957 by 200 families who joined together to purchase a lovely property on the shore of Bass Pond. The pond club is member-owned and operated. The gates will be open for member use starting roughly at 8 am. Please leave the goose deterrents on the docks until the guards come in. If we find they are being removed, we will be forced to keep the gates closed until the guards come in. Thank you for your cooperation. Last clean-up day of 2016. Come down to the pond October 1st and help bring in tables and chairs. Check the event calendar for times. If you have changed your email address or your mailing address please contact us. For safety reasons, please fill in your child's sand holes and throw out any obvious broken or sharp plastic toys before you leave. Please remember, dogs are not allowed at the pond at any time. Users of our paddle-boats must abide by our rules for other boats: kayaks, canoes, etc. At least 1 person must be 13 years old or older & all must wear PFDs. Also, there is no fishing allowed from the paddle-boats. All fishing is Catch & Release Only and No Barbed Hooks are allowed. Non-swimmers need to be accompanied by an adult.
