"We pride ourselves on delivering better value results to our clients and need to ensure that our people have an environment that fosters innovation and best practice working. Baskerville House is a highly visible commitment to both our people and future investment by EC Harris in the region." Targetspace was launched in February 2006 and has since been established at a number of high profile locations including 70 St Mary Axe in The City, Centre Point in the West End and Wembley Point over looking the new stadium. Tenants of Targetspace at Baskerville House, its first venture outside of London, will benefit from a full range of facilities including reception services, a state-of-the-art telecommunications and IT system with in-house consultants, mail handling, secretarial services, a conference centre and café. John Griffiths, from GBR who brokered the deal for EC Harris, said: "We looked at the full range of traditional leases and all the available space in the marketplace for EC Harris but the flexibility offered by a Targetspace business centre fitted extremely well with its business model and its ability to react to new opportunities. "EC Harris has now occupied serviced offices for three years and have seen its business virtually doubled in this time. This provides the strongest possible demonstration of the increasing importance of the serviced office sector to the professional services community." The letting of a further floor to Targetspace means three of the building's eight floors have now been let less than nine months after the building was launched following its massive multi-million pound transformation with the other floors being taken by training company FTC Kaplan. The project saw the building extended from six floors to eight with the development of two new floors at the top of the building that are set within a huge glass dome roof while the other floors are wrapped around two massive new glass atria, creating almost 200,000 sq ft of the most desirable Grade A office space in Birmingham. Ian Fox, property director of Norwich-based developer Targetfollow and managing director of Targetspace, said: "We decided to expand the Targetspace offer after several successful years in the capital and we felt that following its redevelopment, Baskerville House would be an ideal location. "With its fantastic space, iconic status and large floorplates, Baskerville House allowed Targetspace to bring something completely new to the marketplace and this confidence has been justified with the imminent arrival of EC Harris."
