Precision Metalworks — ENGINEERING, FABRICATION, COATING, ASSEMBLY & SERVICE
At Quality Industries, our Nashville-area and Dallas-area facilities house more than 300,000 square feet of diverse, state-of-the-art metal fabrication equipment operated by expert technicians. We deploy a broad array of punching, cutting, welding, forming, bending and stamping systems which are complemented by our finishing, powder coating and custom assembly capabilities. This empowers us to help our customers simplify their supply chains and meet contract manufacturing and custom assembly needs in one stop, and our ISO 9001: 2008 certification means they can expect everything to be done to the highest standards of quality with ever-present attention to continuous improvement.
But, it’s not all about the production floor — our engineering sets us apart. QI's innovative engineering team brings their fabrication expertise to every project to take good ideas and help make them great. Our goal is always to refine and improve product design to maximize integrity, functionality and efficiency while minimizing production costs.
Quality Industries Inc. began operations in Nashville, Tennessee in 1972. The company was founded by Robert and Georgianna Russell and stainless steel food service equipment was the company's preliminary expertise. This product line was soon followed by class seven and class eight truck component parts. The company has since diversified into a variety of commercial and industrial markets offering highly functional, integrated contract manufacturing service and providing quality component parts, sub-assemblies and finished products to a diverse and expanding customer base.
LINEMASTER® designs and manufactures foot controls for medical device OEMs, from standard catalog models to fully custom platforms developed alongside your engineering team.
Standard catalog. Over 300 models, many already integrated into cleared devices.
Semi-custom. A proven base platform configured to your requirements: actuation force, staging, connector, cable, sealing, labeling. The core design and its test history already exist, so qualification moves faster.
Fully custom. Ground-up development when nothing off the shelf fits. Solid modeling, 3D printed prototypes, in-house lifecycle testing to one million cycles and IPX8 water testing against IEC and ISO guidelines, and design documentation your Design History File can reference.
Applications include surgical systems, diagnostic imaging, dental units, and laboratory instrumentation. Patient isolation, electromagnetic compatibility, fluid ingress, and cleanability drive the design. Industrial and laboratory OEMs get the same process.
Wireless. RF foot controls designed for clinical use, with sealed transmitters, interference handling built into the protocol, low-latency response, and battery life measured in thousands of hours on standard AA batteries. Our wireless platform continues to expand, with Bluetooth Low Energy integration.
Technical Workshop. A working session with your engineering team, at your facility or ours, covering design and testing capability, wireless and cybersecurity architecture, illumination and haptic feedback, and where our engineers fit into your development cycle. Tailored to your project stage. No cost.
ISO 13485:2016 certified. FDA registered. PMDA registered. Products designed to meet UL, CSA, CE, IEC, FCC, and RoHS requirements depending on configuration.
Woodstock, Connecticut since 1952. Privately held, family-led, shipping over a million switches a year.
Talk to our engineers before your design is locked. That is when we are most useful.
