Rhythm & Motion Dance Workout Program fosters physical and emotional well being through sharing the joy of dance with people from all walks of life. A woman-owned business started by Consuelo Faust in 1979, R&M has become a San Francisco tradition. We offer a full schedule of drop-in dance workout classes at the beautiful, state-of-the-art ODC Dance Commons, as well as local community centers. Rhythm & Motion emphasizes the joyful spirit and open expressiveness of dance. An alternative to the "body perfect" standard that permeates our society, our program cultivates a welcoming, accepting atmosphere that promotes health and well being. We believe that dancing offers an opportunity to reconnect heart and mind and that truly, anyone can dance!

The Dance Center is Sonoma County’s premiere dance studio offering a comprehensive program of jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre and acrobatics. The Dance Center celebrates 44 years of dance in Santa Rosa's Historic Railroad Square. Our studio provides a professional, creative atmosphere for dancers of all ages, training with the best teachers in the North Bay. We offer a yearly curriculum in various dance disciplines such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pom, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, and technique as well as a progressive tot program. The director and the professional staff share the philosophy that dance is to be enjoyed by all for its intrinsic benefits. Our goal is to provide our students the opportunity to have fun, create and be challenged through the art of dance. Our instructors love what they do and believe in a close family atmosphere where they can teach and share their love for dance with their students. Our diverse staff has the ability to take a student from beginner to Commercial or Broadway caliber, but also realizes that not all children have such aspirations. Students of all abilities are welcome and will be offered challenges that will keep them interested as well as improve their skills and self-esteem. We are confident your child will enjoy being a part of our dance education program and the EDA family. An innovative facility, with over 3000 square feet, features four dance rooms equipped with cushioned stage step flooring to protect your childs joints and muscles while providing a safe and comfortable place for all students. The floor "floats" on hundreds of high density foam cushions which absorb the impact of dancing and jumping. It reduces injury and allows the dancers to perform with minimal fatigue. In addition, viewing windows and monitors are available for your viewing pleasure.
