Bascom develops and supplies professional CCTV cameras for SMEs and individuals with a larger property or premises. The systems are designed for self-installation: the cameras connect to a recorder via the mains or via a network cable (PoE). For the connection via the mains, Bascom uses its own technology, Bascom® POWER, which transmits camera footage via the existing electrical wiring. The recorder stores the footage locally, not in the cloud, and Bascom does not use subscriptions. The system owner decides who has access and how long footage is kept. Bascom specialists provide free remote advice on system setup and also assist with installation and use after purchase. Bascom is a Dutch company supplying customers across Europe from the Netherlands. Support is available in Dutch, German, French, and English.
