BASALT Arkitektar is an architectural office established in 2009. Our work includes several challenging and noted projects in the past, among them the different phases of the blue lagoon. The goal is a dynamic office providing quality work and services on projects of different content, expression and scale. We are a group of designers and experienced architects committed to the artistic and poetic dimension of architecture in concept, in detail and in execution. Sustainability is an important keystone in our design and BASALT has been a member of the Icelandic Green Building Council and Nordic built from the start.
