We are a firm of structural engineers who do what we do because we love designing structures and seeing them successfully built. We love using the combination of engineering theory and creative thinking to solve problems, and creating real physical solutions that you can touch and jump on. We also love the feeling of satisfaction gained from seeing a project go well, from real teamwork, and having happy satisfied clients. We are very proud of our work, and would like to develop and grow further. Established in 1993, we are an ambitious and creative practice that has probably won more awards per capita than any other. We are a small tight knit team working on a very wide range of projects, both large and small; from inflatable structures to the conservation of Grade One listed buildings. All of our staff have a full involvement with our clients, and continuity of staff on projects is very important to us. We place great emphasis on planning our design work; for us it is important that our resources are carefully managed, and that our project staff are fully supported and not pressured into long working hours; we work as a team, and we support each other in our endeavours. The practice currently has a 50% male/female technical staff ratio, and we believe strongly in flexible and sustainable working practices. We also take knowledge management seriously, and have built up resources that contain a great deal of information and experience that is readily available to all staff. We have invested heavily in software, equipment, and staff training to help us achieve excellence in design and the delivery of projects. We are ISO 9001: 2015 accredited.
