Our name has since become synonymous with speed, reliability, and compassionate inpatient care. Bartlesville Ambulance Service began over 40 years ago when Dan Dalton purchased the service from Stumpff Funeral Home. It was common in the 1970s for funeral homes to provide this service. Dan took the first emergency medical technician class in Bartlesville in 1975. He passed the national registry exam for EMT-Paramedic in 1985, transitioning BAS to an advanced life support service.
