BARTKRESA studio is a Los Angeles-based projection design studio creating large-scale projection mapping, immersive environments, and transformative visual experiences around the world. Led by founder and Master Projection Designer Bart Kresa, the studio combines fine art, animation, architecture, light, and technology to create experiences designed specifically for the spaces and objects they inhabit. With more than 30 years of experience, Bart Kresa and his team have created projection experiences for cultural landmarks, live entertainment, museums, major brands, private events, and public installations around the world. Selected projects include Universal Studios Japan’s Gift of Angels and Universal Spectacle Night Parade: The Best of Hollywood; Dragon Quest Live Spectacle Tour; HBO’s Game of Thrones premieres and awards events; the Friends 25th Anniversary celebration; and large-scale projection experiences for international cultural and entertainment events. BARTKRESA studio is also known for developing original 360-degree projection-mapped sculptures and installations including Shogyo Mujo, Sviatovid, and HAKO, presented internationally at events and institutions including Burning Man, Adobe MAX, SIGGRAPH, ISE, InfoComm, LUMA Festival, Riyadh Season, and others. The studio’s work has received multiple Thea Awards, more than a dozen BizBash event industry awards, and numerous international honors for projection design and immersive experiences. Selected clients include: ABC, Apple, Bulgari, Coldplay, Disney, General Motors, The Grammy Awards, HBO, Paramount Studios, T-Mobile, Universal Studios Japan, USC, Viking Cruises, Warner Bros., and others.
