Barod Information

Barod is the Welsh word for 'ready'. Ready for change, ready support, ready to make a difference. Barod is a harm reduction based substance use treatment provider based in South East and West Wales. We focus on providing quality services for substance user, their friends and family and professionals. We have a strong value base and a commitment to promoting inclusivity, empathy and unconditional positive regard. We believe that everyone is an individual and that individuals have the right to make informed choices and that everyone has the ability to change if they have the tools and support they need. We use a wide range of models and interventions, that are evidenced based, to help us to support individuals to make a difference to their lives and the lives of other.
