Barbot focuses its activity on the production and commercialization of paints and varnishes, and other solutions for the segments of Construction, Decoration and Industry. Founded by Diogo Barbot in 1920, the company soon invested in innovation, quality and sustainability to succeed in this competitive market. Today, the company is one of the largest in its sector in Portugal. It is based in Vila Nova de Gaia and currently has more than 350 employees, producing more than 100 tonnes of aqueous products and 15 tonnes of solvent products per day. In total, the brand has 21 own stores in our country. Operating in three continents – Europe, Africa and Latin America –, the Barbot Group now includes six companies: - Barbot - Indústria de Tintas, S.A. (www.barbot.pt); - Tintas Barbot Angola; - Tintas Barbot Cabo Verde; - Tintas Barbot Moçambique; - Jallut (www.jallut.com); - Diera (www.diera.pt). Barbot Portugal also produces and markets the Anpal brand. Recently, was launched an eCommerce website - www.barbot.pt/lojaonline.
