A famous street amongst Bangkoks hustle and bustle, Khao San Road was initially a trading post for farmers to trade their rice direct from their fields. Khao-San raw rice was simply a name applied to the road where the trade of raw rice was done. Over time, with the introduction of newer technologies, this tranquil road saw the trade of finer wares such as silver and jewelry. Khao San Road has always been seen by locals as a central place to meet and trade the fruits of their country. In modern day Bangkok, tourists now take advantage of Khao San Roads central location to stay and go on to many of the citys famous landmarks and festivals. It is considered a rite of passage for any worldly backpacker to have stayed on Khao San Road when visiting Bangkok. With this, we hope to offer you a taste of the experiences Thailand has to offer.

Son in law takes it's name from a famous Thai street food favourite, a dish with a humorous back-story.
