The Yakitori spot for everyone! BambooTori is an innovative yakitori restaurant serving affordable and fun food on a stick. After travelling together throughout Asia, three friends from three different corners of the world decided to revolutionize the current yakitori market and bring healthy Japanese comfort food to a fast casual setting. Yakitori may be Japanese for grilled chicken, but BambooTori is much more than your traditional izakaya. Hungry onlookers can watch as their savory meat and vegetable skewers grill within minutes in a custom yakitori machine – the first of its kind in the U.S.! BambooTori’s unique concept even inspired two-time CHOPPED champion Chef Marc Bynum to create a special meatball recipe that is now a customer favorite, rivaled only by the succulent bacon-wrapped asparagus skewers. Though BambooTori offers quick eats, everything on the menu is all-natural and homemade; each ingredient is hand-chopped, sliced and ground every morning. To round out a great meal, customers can also doodle on the mirrored wall, try their luck at Japanese-inspired trivia, or snap a quick selfie in front of the mustachioed mirror. Since doors opened in October 2012, the joint is quickly becoming a go-to spot for fresh, healthy meals and something different than the common grub.
