The University of Texas at Austin's Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center inspires the conservation of native plants through its gardens and education, research and outreach programs. Established in 1982, the center is nationally-renowned for its programs in plant conservation, ecosystem design, native plants, sustainable landscapes and education. It was named the state botanic garden and arboretum of Texas in 2017. Flora is a plant shop based in East Nashville, TN, providing specialty houseplants and other botanical themed gifts and goods. As plant enthusiasts, we carefully select only the best quality and most beautiful plants. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, we have an affordable selection that will meet your needs at home, in the office or at your next event. It is important to us that we help educate our customers about the many benefits of keeping nature in our lives and in our homes, and how to do that well. We also offer consultation services to homes and businesses that need a little extra help adding green to their spaces, as well as plant rentals for weddings and events. We hope that Flora begins to mean not only a plant shop but also a place that embraces and welcomes the depth and diversity of our Nashville community.
