Straw Innovations Ltd. is an agriculture-based venture that aims to make use of leftover rice straw. Straw Innovations was started in December 2016 as a spin-out from world-leading rice straw R&D. The company addresses the two key problems: 1) How to get the straw out of rice fields economically; and 2) How to upcycle it to make eco-friendly, commercially viable products.

Earth Friendly Straws is a socially conscious company working to reduce and remove plastic pollution from our environment. We believe there is untapped potential in our economy to create sustainable change in the space that resides in-between for profit companies and their nonprofit counterparts. We exist and grow not only to provide our customers with quality products, support our vendors and create jobs but also to follow a business model that allows us to continually support nonprofit environmental organizations that align with our goals.
