Baltic Lloyd was established in 1997 as subsidiary enterprise of Deutsche Binnenreederei to operate a regular liner service between Rostock and Moscow. As from 01.03.2000 the company was taken over by the very experienced business men Mr. Rolf Kroeger and Mr. Manfred Reining coming from Rostock, to build up an independent forwarding company at port of Rostock. As from this point our company was starting a contineus growing development until today. With our motto "everything from one source" we offer full logistic package including: Freightage - Ship's Agency - Cargo handling - Warehousing - Forwarding. With following steps from ground braking ceremony until today we like to summarize our sucess story: May 2000 Baltic Lloyd took over the distribution and logistic activities of Stora Enso, a Finnish-Swedish paper producing company, at the port of Rostock April 2001 the well known forwarder Horst Mosolf KG specialised in all transports of vehicles was looking for a successor for their activities in Rostock As from 1st of April all activities in Rostock started under the new umbrella Baltic Lloyd.
