Featuring two Certified Balloon Artists on staff, Blooming Balloons is Raleigh's premier balloon decorating service. Blooming Balloons was started in September of 2006 by Lisa Swiger and her mother, Judy Geiger. Lisa is the Lead Instructor in the United States for Qualatex Balloons, the largest balloon brand in the world. She uses this experience to bring new ideas to our clients. "Blooming Balloons is dedicated to providing you with the best balloon decor you can find. It is our joy to work with clients to make their event absoultely magical." Our work has won major awards in decor and design, and has been published in our leading industry magazine, Images, on multiple occassions. In June 2009, Lisa was honored to receive The Treb Heining Pioneer Visionary Scholarship by Pioneer Balloon Company. Both Lisa and Judy believe in continuing education and have attended World Balloon Convention, FLOAT The Convention, Ballooniversity, Balloon Camp, and West Coast Events & Balloon Arts Convention. Lisa has taught at all of these except Balloon Camp. Lisa and Judy have both earned their CBA designation. The CBA, or Certified Balloon Artist, is a rigorous certification program to train balloon professionals in their craft. It involves several online tests and a 4 hour practical exam conducted by leaders in the balloon industry. The CBA certification program is the most respected certification program in the balloon industry, and it means you are working with a thoroughly trained and knowledgeable balloon professional.
