We design hand printed fabric and custom rugs for interiors from coast to coast. Our work has been called daring, bold, playful and inspirational. Based in Rhode Island, BALANCED DESIGN offers fabrics to the trade available through showrooms, sales representatives and directly from our studio. We collaborate with interior designers to provide fabric swatches, custom colorways and custom rug designs for residential and commercial applications. Our rugs are tufted and finished in the USA in as little as 8 weeks. In addition, we offer a custom pillow program to designers offering 7 sizes and 2 edge options, all sewn in the textile mills of Fall River, Massachusetts. Founder Melinda Cox is a designer at the intersection of minimalism and graphic pattern.
