bake[space] Information

bake[space] is a local initiative dedicated to bringing good food and fortitude to heart. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we highlighted a different organization across our page every week, ultimately creating a menu that centered around the cause, with a portion of profits directly being donated. We are inspired by the transformative capacity of baking as a means of mending an unjust world. the concept of #urgentcraft is a constellation of tactics designed by @soulellis that has framed much of our mission. We hope that through highlighting under-heard voices across the food system and beyond, we can create a common consciousness centered around ideas that push the limits for what we aim to accomplish.
