At the young age of 23, Tom brought the art of artisan baking back to Cornwall. Using century-old methods and just the simplest, natural ingredients to enrich the flavour, our bakers knead, shape, prove and bake our bread by hand to ensure our customers receive the tastiest loaves, full of flavour. From organic sourdoughs and unique Italian speciality breads to traditional, sliced tin loaves and rye and spelt flour varieties, Tom has created a delicious, unique range that’s hand crafted to suit everyone’s tastes. Today Baker Tom’s has 5 shops and cafes of its own and a successful wholesale business. But true to the day Tom started, our ethos still remains the same - to make delicious handcrafted artisan bread, traditional scones and sweet treats that our customers know, love and can depend upon.
