Elvia Sandoval de Caldwell was born and raised in the northern region of Baja California, Mexico and grew up there well into her early twenties. Marriage brought her eventually to Colorado Springs and she started her Baja Salsa venture in July, 2002. Elvia's salsa was first launched through sales at area Farmer's Markets, but has grown since then to include noteable stores such as Whole Foods, Natural Grocers, and King Soopers among the many other local and regional natural food grocers. In addition, Baja Salsa supports food service establishments and restaurants throughout the Colorado Front Range. With all the changes and growth, Baja Salsa is now in manufacturing partnership with Taste of Life staff in Monument, CO. All of our great tasting salsas will be craft made by Taste of Life, 18965 Base Camp Rd, Monument, CO 80132.
