Chabad.org's mission is to utilize technology to unite Jews worldwide, empower them with knowledge of their 3,300 year-old tradition, and foster within them a deeper connection to Judaism’s rituals and faith.
Our Philosophy:
"Everything in this world was created for a divine purpose. All forms of modern technology can and should be harnessed to make the world a better place and, in the case of Jews, to spread Judaism in the widest possible manner."
Mishpacha is the premier magazine brand of the Orthodox Jewish world, reaching up to half a million readers around the globe every week from across the religious spectrum. As a conduit for the exchange of ideas between Orthodoxy's varying streams, among them the Hassidic, Yeshivish, Sephardic, and Modern Orthodox communities, Mishpacha delivers timely analysis of world events that impact Jewish people along with compelling and entertaining features. Mishpacha's weekly package also includes Family First, a full-color weekly women's magazine, and Mishpacha Junior for children.
Known for their willingness to respectfully discuss issues challenging Orthodox Jewish communities, both Mishpacha and Family First consistently set the agenda for the key discussions that have decreased stigma, raised awareness, and nurtured solutions. Mishpacha continues to earn leadership status as a trailblazer in the Jewish media world thanks to journalism and design standards that define the status quo.
Since 1984, Mishpacha has gotten people talking. Join the conversation.
Sefaria is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating the future of Torah in an open and participatory way. We are assembling a free, living library of Jewish texts and their interconnections, in Hebrew and in translation. With these digital texts, we can create new, interactive interfaces for Web and mobile, allowing more people to engage with the textual treasures of our tradition. We are creating a space for ancient conversations to continue in new ways, with new participants, new questions, and new layers of dialogue.
