Baines Holmes Furniture is an independent furniture maker. I undertake a wide range of projects from one-off specially designed pieces to whole rooms. I will work in many different materials, from solid oak to raw MDF. These can be to any specification and finish, and to suit any budget. Steve Baines-Holmes is a longstanding Brightonian whose interest in design and furniture led him to a career change in 2005. Since successfully completing a City and Guilds in Furniture Making Steve has worked for a local carpentry firm. Work included large contract work for bars and restaurants as well as domestic furniture. In 2007 Steve set up Baines Holmes Furniture and has already undertaken a wide range of projects for homes and businesses, including ongoing work for an important listed building.
