Badger Consulting Information

Badger Consulting is a 360-degree consulting firm at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and it is operated by students who work together to revamp and improve small businesses in the greater Madison area. Badger Consulting provides students with real-world business experience while giving back to the community through its pro bono consulting services. Each semester, Badger Consulting is paired with four clients who are concurrently enrolled in the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center’s (SBDC) Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP). Each client is given a team of two Project Managers and eight Analysts who conduct research to be compiled into a final deliverable containing a Competitive Analysis, Industry Analysis, and Risk Assessment. The final deliverables are reviewed and critiqued by professional consultants at the Wisconsin SBDC before they are presented to the client.
