Backyard Revolution Information

Backyard Revolution is a family-oriented celebration of our country's cultural and agricultural heritage. Our aim is to provide opportunities for re-skilling and recollection by bridging, from past to present, the self-sufficient abilities, ingenuity, and practical wisdom of our forebears. Backyard Revolution brings people devoted to preserving the traditions of our collective history together with those who want to share, and learn from that experience. We passionately support and encourage the adoption of pre-petroleum age living practices beneficial to and applicable in, our modern world, while providing support, encouragement, and resources to those keeping our sustainable traditions alive. Founded by Adrienne Young-Ramsey, Backyard Revolution is a program which endeavors to bring the strengths of our Indigenous and Colonial Ancestors to life by making their knowledge, lore, and credentials accessible to and respected by a broader, more diverse audience.
