Backstop is a specialist recruitment and training agency that supplies temporary staff to the criminal justice and specialist education sectors. We operate wherever there is a requirement for highly trained and professional staff to work with young people and adults who are "harder to reach"​, or "at risk"​. We supply staff to Youth Offending Teams, Probation services, local authority SEN teams as well as Pupil Referral Units (PRUs). Founded by a qualified social worker in 2001, our values are rooted in helping, empowering and advocating on behalf of vulnerable young people, and other service users. Because of our desire to promote social good we only register the best quality candidates who we have assessed as capable of carrying out their professional duties to the highest expected level. We understand that excellent communication skills are vital in our line, and your line of work, so our friendly team is passionate about building good relationships with candidates and employers.
