As far as myself, I have 16 years of restaurant experience, I am certified by two wine organizations, the Court of Master Sommeliers-Certified level and the International Sommelier Guild- Diploma level. Educated at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, I have been featured as an expert on the subject in numerous publications such as The Sacramento Bee, The Natomas Journal and Comstock Magazine, as well as a recent segment of KOVR 13 NEWS' "Call Kurtis. I have been instrumental in management and wine list decisions for such upscale establishments as Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, UT, Meadowood, located in Napa Valley, The Girl and the Fig located in Sonoma and the recently opened and popular 58 Degrees & Holding in downtown Sacramento.
