In 2016, BIC successfully passed the auditing conducted by ASQA (Australian Skills and Qualification Authority) and was officially granted its RTO (41560) and CRICOS Provider code (03522E). Being a formal registered training organisation, BIC is able to recruit international students from overseas now. At the end of 2016, BIC's Diploma of Interpreting became approved by NAATI. In 2018, BIC transitioned to a course provider endorsed by NAATI. So far, hundreds of its graudates have obtained their NAATI certifications and started their career.
