Founded in 1998 as Rainbow Helicopters, Babcock MCS Germany, formerly Heli Aviation, was acquired by the Babcock International Group in 2016. We are situated in the city of Augsburg, one of Germany's traditional aviation industry regions. With more than 20 years' experience in world-wide helicopter operations and training, we have become synonymous with delivering precision and quality in the aerospace and space-travel industries. Babcock MCS Germany is trusted to provide complex passenger and cargo transport, MEDEVAC services, training solutions, off- and on-shore aerial work, and maintenance services. The state-of-the art Babcock MCS Germany EASA Part 145 maintenance service center gives us full control over the safety of our helicopters during our mission critical operations. Our International training academy builds on the experience gained by our pilots and technicians while on global assignments - from the Caribbean to East Asia. Through those synergies we ensure that all lessons and procedures taught to our students are applicable in real life situations. Our varied and extensive expertise is put to work in challenging conditions and complex operations during worldwide humanitarian relief operations for some of the world's largest crisis response organisations. In 2012 we opened our state-of-the-art facilities at Augsburg Airport, which now not only hosts our academy and core organization, but also the formerly Worms-based Maintenance Base and Airbus Helicopters' German civil maintenance service centre. We are continuing to engage new markets while building on our core competencies. We are committed to partnering with both private and governmental institutions to develop helicopter programmes and projects, throughout the world. For more than a century, Babcock has been trusted to deliver bespoke, highly-skilled engineering services. We help customers in the UK and around the world to improve the capability, reliability and availability of their most critical assets within the four market sectors of Marine, Land, Aviation, and Nuclear, underpinned by a deep understanding of technology integration, unique infrastructure, and specialist training.
