Sean Blagsvedt, CEO of Babajob, founded the organization in 2007, along with his step-father Ira Weise, and Microsoft colleague Vibhore Goyal. The concept was inspired by Duke University and World Bank research which showed that the primary path out of poverty is through income diversification i.e., changing jobs. Babajob was developed with the purpose to make a positive social impact on society. Improving livelihoods is not just about creating jobs; fundamentally, it is also about creating opportunities for dignified work. Babajob was founded with the aim to provide access to better employment opportunities – regardless of people’s literacy level, income level, or computer skills. We enable numerous households and companies to shape and modernize their workforce, and ultimately the Indian economy. Companies such as OLA, Puma, and Snapdeal hire drivers, delivery executives, housekeeping staff and countless other positions through us.
