When our doors opened for the first time in 2004 it was because we wanted to challenge the belief that burgers were bad. We were the David to the Goliath’s of the burger world, and we were fighting them with burgers that were both guilt-free and delicious. Today we're proud to plate up healthy burgers made with love. It’s what makes our burgers the solution to fast food and not another alternative. We work with local farmers and artisans to secure the freshest ingredients and we're proud to serve RSPCA Approved chicken and free-range beef, lamb and eggs. How we did it back then is how we still do it today, the Grill’d way, and what continues to make our burgers so special is not only the ingredients. It’s our people. The Grill’d team. They are the heart and soul of Grill’d. Without them, there is no us. The reason we get up every morning and put on our bandanas is not just to cook delicious healthy burgers. It's to open our doors to our guests - the extended Grill'd family - and create a positive environment that offers inclusivity, mateship, and community. Turkish Delight Restaurant has been a pillar in Canberra's Turkish community for more than thirty years, standing as Canberra's very first Turkish restaurant. Our precious restaurant first opened alongside one of the late waves of Turkish migrants in the 1980's and in that time, became a second home to Turkish people newly settling in Canberra. Over the years our restaurant has been both a second home to Canberran Turkish people as well as a symbol of lasting friendship between Turkish and Australian people.
