The company has six employees and is certified per ISO 9001:2008. History: BAAS Component was established in 1986 as an engineering firm. BAAS started producing dampers to offshore installations and by the end of 1987 the dampers were certified by DNV. During the same year, BAAS produced its first measuring station for installation in heavy gauge ventilation ducts for offshore use. Since then BAAS has supplied most of the offshore installations in the Norwegian part of the North Sea with dampers and measuring stations. In the years following BAAS designed a measuring probe for the same purpose as measuring stations. Both measuring stations and measuring probes are tested at Byggforsk in Norway and by Howden Variax in Denmark with outstanding results. Today you can find BAAS measuring stations and measuring probes in several offshore installations, hospitals and other industrial complexes.
