B3 Systems' key business area is providing specialized field services. These include chemical spiking, primarily used for hazardous waste incinerator testing, and particulate spiking, used for the calibration of particulate matter continuous emission monitors (PM CEMS). B3 Systems' was the first company to offer a chemical spiking service in 1992. Prior to this most companies were handling this in-house. Our approach of using Micro-Motion mass flow meters with industrial PLC control resulted in better control and higher accuracies versus using manual control and scales. B3 Systems' patented PM spiking method allows faculties to calibrate over a wider concentration range without "detuning" or changing process conditions. PM Spiking is controlled and repeatable, allowing quick changes in PM loading for testing conditions. It has been successfully applied to both dry and wet stacks. We also provide products and services for baghouse monitoring and control. We provide both embedded as well as PLC-based baghouse control systems which meet your specific needs. Our systems can be full integrated with bag leak detectors to help keep your PM in compliance.
