B-ILD Information

B-ILD was founded in 2009 and is centrally located in Brussels, Belgium. B-ILD focusses on projects with an added value to community and society. This results in a portfolio largely composed of public buildings like schools, childcare facilities, healthcare campuses, community centres and youth care projects. Every project at B-ILD centres on a process of thorough research: a deep understanding of interaction and environment leads to conclusive design guidelines. Simple yet solid concepts with an emphasis on flexibility anchor every building in both its current and future context. These values encompass the firms consistent views towards sustainability. In the year of its 10th anniversary, the office was recognized with the Jo Crepain prize for architecture in the category “Promising architectural office”. It was also included by De Standaard in its list of talented agencies for the future.
