Azer Yod LLC Information

In 2004, ISR Holding acquired the state owned Neftechala Iodine-Bromine Plant located in the Neftchala, Azerbaijan, which had been closed since 1994. After acquisition, it was renamed to Azer -Yod LLC and reopened in August 2007 following reconstruction and overhaul that started in March 2006. Current capacity is 250 tpy. Neftechala Iodine-Bromine Plant was one of the largest iodine producers in the CIS. The Plant commissioned in the 1930s, had a 250tpy capacity and used the coal-absorption method till 1985 and ion exchange method thereafter.
