About With support of National Academy of Sciences and international organizations (CRDF, NATO, OSCE, IAEA and UNDP) a high equipped Environmental Physics and Chemistry Center (AZECOLAB) was founded in 2000. In addition to ISO 17025 compliance AZECOLAB’s Management System meets all the requirements of OHSAS 18001and ISO 14001International Standards: OHSAS 18001 – Initial Certification: Year 2008 (Det Norske Veritas) ISO 14001 – OHSAS 18001 – Initial Certification: Year 2010 (Det Norske Veritas) Laboratory’s sampling, field measurement and testing procedures are based on ASTM, EPA, ISO and SM methods. AZECOLAB’s employees – All our employees are very experienced. We have PhD scientists and MScs who were trained in international laboratories and have more than 10 years of experience in testing laboratories. We have all needed equipment to provide laboratory analytical, environmental study and field work services which can be grouped as following: Onshore and offshore sampling services; Inorganic physical-chemical tests; Metals tests; Radiochemistry and particulate study tests; Organics and chromatography tests; Bacteriological tests; Noise monitoring services; Air quality tests; Asbestos monitoring services; Caspian Sea Taxonomy and Eco-toxicity tests; Equipment calibration services; Interpretation of test results; In eco-toxicity laboratory we test chemical substances and products in compliance with OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
