Azane is a world leader in low-charge ammonia refrigeration packages. The Azanefreezer and Azanechiller are mature products developed originally in Europe by Star Refrigeration to comply with the EU F-gas regulations, but quickly became the preferred solution over central machinery room ammonia systems due to reduced operating cost, improved flexibility, and better risk management. These products fill a niche for system retrofits and expansions and are also scalable for even the largest cold storage warehouse (Azanefreezer) or industrial process facility (Azanechiller). These packages are ultra-reliable and ultra-efficient air-cooled systems which do not consume water and dramatically reduce maintenance costs. The Azanechiller is also famous for bringing the use of natural refrigerants to applications such as ice rinks, HVAC, breweries, and many other industries.
