As food industry professionals, we have seen the beverage industry thrive for the past two decades. However, recently consumers are discovering that their beverages, including diet drinks, may not be as healthy as they thought. Now consumers are changing their eating habits/preferences to live a more satisfying and healthy lifestyle. Ayvo Hydrations has thus embarked on a journey where we wish to bridge the gap between what the consumers want and the best that food science and technology has to offer in the most sustainable and effective manner. Ayvo Hydrations LLC was co-founded by a team of four professionals. Sandy Insalaco, Chairman, is a philanthropist and an entrepreneur. He is the primary investor in the company with an acumen for consumer insight (he previously owned a 14-store grocery supermarket chain). He serves as Chairman on the board of USHydrations, a beverage contract manufacturing company, as well as Landmark Community Bank. He is also a principal in Insalaco Development group. Prashant Shitut, CEO, has more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles at various businesses and industries managing manufacturing and technology organizations. He has considerable experience in turnarounds and M&A activities. He currently also serves as the CEO of USHydrations. Shekhar Patel, COO, has worked at several top global food, nutritional, pharma/vaccines, and diagnostics companies and brings wealth of management experience and technical knowledge in the field of operations and nutrition. He is responsible for R&D, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales and Marketing functions. Joe Lapchak, CFO, has extensive experience in the banking and finance sectors. With over 15 years of experience in the beverage industry, he supports Ayvo Hydrations’ financial strategy and monitors its daily financial operation.
