Finance has always been something I’ve been curious about. My mom tells me that the first finance question I asked that really surprised her and Dad was when I was eight. We were having dinner, and I asked them, “What is equity?” They didn’t know much about it, so they looked it up and explained it to me. That one question led to more questions, and before long, finance became something we were all learning about together. As I got more interested, Mom and Dad started exploring it with me. We read, discussed, experimented, and slowly began thinking about how we could make financial concepts easier for other kids to understand too. That is how ayu Financial Literacy started. In the beginning, it was very much a family project. We worked together to develop financial literacy content and resources that could make topics like earning, spending, saving, investing, and giving back easier to understand. As I grew older, I started taking more responsibility for ayu. What began as a curiosity when I was eight gradually became something I wanted to build myself. Today, I lead the development of ayu, create content, explore new ideas, and think about how we can make financial education accessible to more young people. My goal is simple: to help young people become more confident with money and develop the knowledge they need to make better financial decisions throughout their lives.
