AYETEK Wind focuses its products and services on Turkish and European Wind Energy investors. AYETEK manufactures, erects and provides operations and maintenance services for an own 250 kW wind turbine called AYE 250. AYETEK is founded by two entrepreneurs: Abdullah Özel, M.Sc. and Ekrem Karaçalı, M.Sc. Both founders are originally from Turkey but born in The Netherlands. They also obtained their Master of Science degrees and their experience in The Netherlands. At the moment both entrepreneurs are living in Turkey. AYETEK Wind delivers its own product called AYE 250 Turn-Key by fulfilling a central role from the production, feasibility study to the start up of the turbine. After the start up AYETEK keeps supporting the investors by providing routine inspections and maintenance services. This turbine can also be downgraded to a 200 kW wind turbine (AYE 200). For investor who prefer a 500 kW wind turbine, AYETEK Wind also deals in the WTN 500 wind turbine. The power of AYETEK is that it contributes to the Turkish Wind Energy Market by transferring technology and by practicing European Expertise in Turkey. For this AYETEK has obtained the production license of a 250 kW wind turbine from the German wind turbine producer Wind Technik Nord (WTN). Together a Joint Venture is established. AYETEK also follows closely both the European and Turkish Wind Energy Market by founding and maintaining expert panels.
