The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation, motivated by its mission, focused on the student. Our four programmes for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. Founded in 1968, we currently work with over 5400 schools in 158 countries to develop and offer four challenging programmes to over a million students aged 3 to 19. YSU is the first and leading high education institution in Armenia. It is founded in 1919. By now approximately 100 000 students have graduated from YSU. About 19000 students study at 19 faculties of this HEI. The educational process is conducted by more than 1660 highly qualified specialists and experts (215 professors, 557 associate professors, 427 assistants, 489 lecturers). 39 academicians of NAS RA and 26 associate members of NAS RA are also involved in the educational process of this higher education institution. Owing to highly qualified scientists significant researches related to different modern scientific branches are implemented at YSU. The educational and research activities are organized at more than 100 chairs, which are periodically replenished with modern techniques and equipment.

The American University of Armenia (AUA) is a private, independent university located in Yerevan, Armenia, affiliated with the University of California, and accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission in the United States. As an institution of higher learning, AUA provides local and international students with Western-style education through top-quality undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs, promotes research and innovation, encourages civic engagement and community service, and fosters democratic values. The University was established in 1991 by the Armenian General Benevolent Union, the University of California, and the Republic of Armenia. AUA provides undergraduate degrees in Business, English and Communications, Computer Science, Engineering Sciences, and Data Science. These programs are offered as part of a liberal arts education to assure that all AUA graduates are knowledgeable and well-rounded individuals who can think critically and creatively, learn independently, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively with people from different cultures and disciplines. AUA offers graduate degrees in nine fields of study: Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and Systems Management, Computer and Information Science, Political Science and International Affairs, Economics, Public Health, Law, Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and Strategic Management. These programs are designed to develop critical thinking and lifelong learning skills through advanced coursework, independent study, and research opportunities. AUA’s graduate certificate programs include Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Translation, Finance, Data Analytics, and Public Health.
