Science has an infrastructure problem. 30M+ researchers. 150+ fragmented disciplines. No shared version control. No way to search across what a field already knows. Axy is GitHub for Science. A researcher maps the concepts in their field and how they connect. Nobody edits the graph directly — you propose a submission, an ordered set of changes. Others read it, discuss it in threads, and approve or reject it. An approved submission merges into the canonical graph. It is the git workflow, applied to what science knows instead of code. Each graph defines its own node and edge types, so Axy imposes no schema. A taxonomy, a disease map, an engineering system — anything that can be modelled as concepts and relationships fits. Search it full-text or by meaning. Query it in openCypher and get a subgraph back. Anyone can propose changes to a public graph, on any plan. Open science is not a paid feature.
