Established in 1986. AXTAX, INC., based in Federal Way, WA, provides a three-pronged approach to solving tax problems - expert tax resolutions, tax planning and tax preparation. We are in the business of helping people resolve their tax concerns with the IRS and other taxing authorities. We are based in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area, yet we are fully effective in helping clients in all 50 states! One reason for Ahlberg's success is due to the 5 years he spent working as a Tax Auditor for the IRS - his last day being Friday, September 13, 1985. Since then, he started his tax service business on the "other-side-of-the-table" representing taxpayers before the IRS, Soon thereafter, came the request to do tax preparation for individuals as well as small businesses. This parlayed into full tax representation in IRS Audits, negotiating various options in settling tax debt collections, disputing penalty assessments and getting a "better-shake" resolution in unresolved tax matters via the IRS Appeals process and through the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Office.
