Axis Data Management Corp was founded in 1994 in Baltimore, Maryland. Axis was the first Systems Integration business in the Baltimore region to provide commercial quality Linux services, in addition to SCO and SunOS support. Since then, we have expanded into the areas of hardware design and manufacture, and software development, always concentrating on our original goals of portability, efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Our corporate goal is to realize technological and economical advantages through mastery of organizational and business efficiency strategies, such as Strategic Human Resources Management, CASE-managed projects, development of employee mastery of open source technologies. We are a flexible, project-based organization. Our Core employees are directly involved with our primary technology goals (which are listed below). The majority of our Core employees are responsible only to the specific goals of specific business campaigns (i.e., projects). Our Support employees usually fill traditional functional positions, and have independence to fulfill their well-delineated job description responsibilities without detracting from Axis's core business goals.
