1. Erase Stigmas We seek to erase the social stigmas around the disabled community by inviting volunteers and participants of all experiences. Working alongside one another, participants are able to converse and hear each other’s stories beyond the stereotypes. 2. Share Inspiration We hope to instill pride in individuals over their work and foster a deeper passion for the arts. The pieces made, both functional and artistic, are featured and celebrated through our digital galleries. 3. Make Art We wish that this project will serve as a creative outlet for individuals who often do not have access to arts-driven settings. The tactile feature of ceramic mediums introduces new ways of creativity but also almost therapeutic qualities, making it the perfect art form to explore. 4. Amplify Voices We aim to expose the power that art has as a means of activism through our digital gallery and publication. From #BlackLivesMatter to amplifying the voices of disability activists, A.WARE strives to educate through our content.
