The ARC Training Centre for Automated Vehicles in Rural and Remote Regions (AVR3) is funded via a grant from the Australian Government through the Australian Research Council's Industrial Transformation Research Program, and its industry and university partners. Led by Centre Director Prof. Sebastien Glaser and Co-Director Prof. Ronald Schroeter, AVR3 is dedicated to addressing the unique challenges of deploying automated vehicles (AV) on rural, regional, and remote Australian roads.
