Avotek, located in Weyers Cave, VA, develops and manufactures modern, fully functional aviation maintenance training systems. We create and publish a full line of high-quality, up-to-date classroom textbooks and multimedia that complement our training systems for aviation maintenance training schools and classes, and for individuals interested in learning more about their aircraft. Avotek has earned an industry reputation for quality and excellence. Our team of authors includes mechanics, inspectors, aviation experts, and instructors. They’re actively involved in aviation maintenance training, or working in the aviation maintenance field. They bring their expertise to Avotek from colleges, universities, and current hands-on experience. Founded in 1967, Avotek initially focused on aircraft parts sales. During the 1970s, company leaders observed a growing need for affordable training systems for AMT schools. In that time, many schools were using military surplus and homemade training aids. Avotek stepped up to the plate, and by the late 1970s, the company was developing and manufacturing modern, fully functional training systems. Since 2001, we have added our aviation maintenance textbooks to our line of training products. Avotek continues to design and update our extensive inventory of trainers and textbooks every year.
